· Responsible for the management of commercial credit function, including Underwriting Department, Loan Documentation and Servicing department, and Credit Administration Department for this $320 million bank with four direct reports and three indirect reports.
· Develop and institutionalize new credit underwriting standards for 1) commercial and industrial loans 2) commercial real estate loans; and 3) renewal application template, resulting in much more streamlined and faster process.
· Established a new background/inquiry procedure for prospective new commercial loan customers for loans $500,000 and above, which significantly decreased the bank’s risk exposure with better anticipation and forecast of similar derogatory trends in the future.
· Enhanced and improved the bank’s ability to provide better customer service and assess customer’s risk profile by implementing a new global cash flow and financial spreading software program.
